Boracay Tubi System – Papanagutin ng DENR

PAPAPANAGUTIN ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources ang Boracay Tubi System matapos madiskubreng naglalabas ng tubig sa ilalim ng dagat na may mataas na coliform level.

Ayon sa DENR, nagsagawa sila ng inspection noong nakaraang September 14 at ipina-examin ang tubig na lumalabas mula sa outfall ng Sewage Treatment Plant ng BTSI sa Bolabog beach at lumalabas na hindi ito safe sa tao.

Dahil dito ay ipapatigil nila ang operation ng STP ng BTSI at papatawan ng penalidad.

Sinusubukan pa naming kunan ng pahayag ang BTSI may kinalaman dito.

“That is the BTSI STP Outfall that was already inspected by the DENR-EMB last September 14, 2019. Water samples were taken and tested positive of unsafe coliform levels. A cease and Desist Order and corresponding penalties are expected to be issued against BTSI. Kailangan merong managot! 👊👊👊”
