Boracay Island kinilala bilang Asia’s Top Island sa 2022 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards
BORACAY, ISLAND KINILALA BILANG ASIA’S TOP ISLAND SA 2022 CONDÉ NAST TRAVELER READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS
Muling kinilala ang Boracay Island bilang top island sa buong Asya sa 2022 Readers’ Choice Awards ng travel magazine na Condé Nast Traveler.
Nakuha ang isla ng Boracay ng rating na 95.13, batay sa US-based luxury and lifestyle travel magazine’s website.
Nasa ikawalong puwesto naman ang Palawan na umiskor ng 88.99.
Samantala ang Condé Nast Traveler’s Top 10 Islands in Asia for 2022 ay kinabibilangan ng mga sumusunod:
- Boracay, Philippines
- Bali, Indonesia
- Koh Samui, Thailand
- Langkawi, Malaysia
- Phuket, Thailand
- Phú Quôc, Vietnam
- Sri Lanka
- Palawan, Philippines
- Okinawa and Ryukyu Islands, Japan
- Phi Phi Islands, Thailand
Dahil dito, nakuha ng Pilipinas ang ika-30th place mula sa 48 countries to travel na may score na 86.66%.
Ikinatuwa naman ito ni Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco.
“We are extremely grateful for these international awards for the Philippines based on the opinion and experience of travelers from all over the world,” ani Garcia-Frasco.
“As we usher in this new era of travel post-pandemic, our focus is to continue building confidence toward travel to the country by ensuring improvement in ease of access, prioritizing tourist safety and convenience, and encouraging sustainable tourism practices,” dagdag pa nito.
Ang Condé Nast Traveler ay nagsasagawa ng survey kada taon para sa Readers’ Choice Awards sa mga world’s best islands, cities, countries, resorts at iba pa.
