₱1,000 MONTHLY ALLOWANCE PARA SA MGA ESTUDYANTE MULA KINDERGARTEN HANGGANG COLLEGE, INIHAIN SA KAMARA

INIHAIN sa Kamara ang National Student Allowance Program (NSAP) Act na layong magbigay ng monthly allowance na ₱1,000 sa bawat estudyante mula kindergarten hanggang kolehiyo.

Ayon kay Batangas Representative Leandro Leviste, ang may-akda ng House Bill 27, ang P1,000 monthly allowance ay para sa pagkain, transportasyon, at mga gamit sa paaralan ng bawat estudyante.

“All Filipino students who satisfy the foregoing conditions shall be eligibie for the allowance. This allowance shall be in addition to and shall not replace or diminish any other public or private scholarships, allowances, or financial aid extended to the student,” nakasaad sa naturang bill.

”The amount necessary to carry out the initial implementation of this Act shall be included in the respective budgets of the departments and agencies concerned in the annual General Appropriations Act. The DepEd, CHEd, and DOF (Department of Finance) may explore new revenue sources and loan mechanisms and shall accept donations or grants to fund the NSAP.”

Ang iminungkahing NSAP ay inaasahang tutulong sa mahigit 30 milyong mag-aaral sa buong bansa.

Layon din nitong palakasin ang tungkulin ng gobyerno na gawing tunay na accessible at sustainable ang kalidad ng edukasyon para sa lahat ng Pilipino.
