Mga author ng HB 1085 o Bida Bill idineklarang ‘Persona Non Grata’ ng SP Aklan

IDINEKLARANG ‘Persona Non Grata’ ng Aklan Sangguniang Panlalawigan sina Congressman Luis Raymund F. Villafuerte ng 2nd District Of Camarines Sur, Congressman Tsuyoshi Anthony G. Horibata ng 1st District Of Camarines Sur, Congressman Miguel Luis R. Villafuerte ng 5th District Of Camarines Sur, at Bicol Saro Representative Congressman Nicolas C. Enciso VIII.

Ito ay dahil binuhay nila ang House Bill No. 1085 o Proposing The Creation Of A Boracay Island Development Authority As A Government-Owned And Controlled Corporation (GOCC) kung saan katulad lamang ng House Bill No. 09286 na hindi ipinasa ng 18th Congress.

Sa session ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan, unanimously approved ng lahat ng mga board member ang inihaing resolusyon ni Vice Governor Atty. Reynaldo M. Quimpo na ideklarang ‘Persona Non Grata’ ang mga nabanggit na kongresista.

Isa rin ito sa sentimiyento ng Sanggunian sa kawalan ng respeto ng naturang mga kongresista sa mga lider at mga mamamayan ng Aklan na mariing tumututol sa nasabing panukalang batas.

“It is the general sentiments of the Sanggunian Panlalawigan and the people of Aklan to declare… rather to adapt a resolution to declare the Hon. Congressman Luis Raymund F. Villafuerte Of The 2nd District Of Camarines Sur, Congressman Tsuyoshi Anthony G. Horibata Of The 1st District Of Camarines Sur, Congressman Miguel Luis R. Villafuerte Of The 5th District Of Camarines Sur, And Bicol Saro Representative Congressman Nicolas C. Enciso VIII As Persona Non Grata in the Province Of Aklan,” pahayag ni Board Member Apol Cleope.

Kaugnay nito, ang pagkakaroon anila ng BIDA GOCC ay maituturing na “catastrophic” at may “irreversible” na epekto sa socio-economic well-being ng mga Aklanons.
