IN PHOTOS: LUNAR ECLIPSE AND ‘SUPER BLOOD MOON’ SHINES BRIGHTLY OVER BANGA, AKLAN

The super blood moon shines over Banga, Aklan, Wednesday evening, May 26.

Photographer Patrick Magbanua took the photos using Canon 80d around 7:20 to 8:30 PM at Taba-ao Banga, Aklan.

According to PAGASA, Lunar eclipses are safe to watch and observers need not use any kind of protective filters for the eyes.

“A pair of binocular will help magnify the view and will make the red coloration of the Moon brighter,” PAGASA said on a statement.
