Estudyante at mga guro dapat bilhan ng tablets — Mayor Jerry Treñas

Dapat umanong bilhan ng tablets ang mga guro at estudyante sa private at public schools para mas mainam na maipatupad ang online distant learning ayon kay Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas.

Aniya, kailangan ding i-improve ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang internet facilities sa mga paaaralan.

Inihayag din ng alkalde na dapat itigil ang lahat na school building projects ng DepEd para sa masunod na taon dahil wala pa umanong face-to-face learning.

Narito ang official statement ni Mayor Jerry Treñas:

I am just thinking aloud. Why don’t we stop all school building projects of DepEd for next year since there is no face to face learning due to the pandemic. Instead DepEd should improve further internet facilities of the schools and the barangays and purchase tablets for all the teachers and students both in the public and private schools then we can go on with distant learning safely.
