KAUNA-UNAHANG COMMUNITY PANTRY SA TIMOR LESTE, BINUKSAN NA

Nagbukas na rin ang ang mga volunteers sa Dili, East Timor ng kauna-unahang community pantry sa kanilang bansa.

Binahagi ni vice consul Laser Sumagaysay sa kanyang social media account ang unang community pantry na itinayo sa Timor Leste ay inspired sa “Filipino bayanihan spirit”.

Lubos rin na naapektuhan ng COVID-19 pandemic at matinding pagbaha nitong buwan ang Dili kaya naisipan nilang magtayo rin doon ng pantry.

“I took the opportunity to discuss with some Timorese friends and diplomats about the concept of “bayanihan” and particularly showed them photos of #communitypantry set-ups in Ph to which they gained much interest,” saad ni Sumagaysay.
