Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 si US President Donald Trump at First Lady na si Melania Trump.

Mismong si Trump ang nag-kumpirma ng balita sa kanyang Twitter account.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!,” ayon sa Tweet.

Ayon kay Trump, sisimulan na nila ng kanyang asawa ang quarantine at recovery process.

Sa isang hiwalay na tweet, sinabi ni Melania Trump na siya at ang Pangulo ay “feeling good” at kinansela muna ang kanilang mga appointments.

“As too many Americans have done this year, @potus & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19. We are feeling good & I have postponed all upcoming engagements. Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together,” saad nito sa Tweet.
