97 LGU, bigo na mag-comply sa road clearing operations -DILG

Bigo ang 97 na Local Government Units (LGU) na mag-comply sa road clearing operations sa kanilang hurisdiksyon na gaya ng iniutos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.   

Dahil dito, inanunsyo ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) na magpapalabas na sila ng show cause orders para sa mga nasabing LGU. 

“These LGUs are given five days from receipt of the show cause orders for them to explain their non-compliance and under-performance,” giit ni DILG Secretary Eduardo M. Año.

Ayon sa DILG, narito ang bilang ng mga bigong makasunod na LGUs sa bawat rehiyon:

Region I – 11 LGU, Region II – 1 LGU, Region III – 1 LGU, Region IV-B – 7 LGU, Region V -10 LGU, Region VI – 1 LGU, Region VII – 12 LGU, Region VIII – 8 R LGU, Region IX – 19 LGU, Region X – 13 LGU, Region XI – 3 LGU, Region XII – 3 LGU, Region XIII – 4 LGU, at CAR – 4 LGU

Umabot naman sa 1,148 LGU sa buong bansa ang nakapasa sa balidasyon.
