Duque, tinalaga bilang chairperson ng World Health Organization Western Pacific

Itinalaga bilang bagong chairperson si Health Secretary Francisco Duque III ng World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee for Western Pacific.

Dinaluhan ito ng 37 miyembro ng estado.

Ayon sa Department of Health (DOH) magsisilbing chairperson si Duque ng isang taon.

“Congratulations to our Chair, Honourable Secretary Duque from the Philippines. Secretary, thank you very much for taking on this important role in this difficult time. We all know there are many other demands on your time,” pahayag ni WHO Regional Director for the Western Pacific Dr. Takeshi Kasai.
