REP. LEGARDA: HINDI PAGSUNOD SA BATAS KALIKASAN, DAHILAN NG MARAMING SAKIT

IPINUNTO ni Antique Representative at senatorial candidate Loren Legarda na ang dahilan ng maraming sakit sa Pilipinas ay ang hindi pagsunod sa mga batas ng kalikasan.

Ito ay pahayag ni Legarda sa isinagawang 22^nd End Term Assembly ng Philippine Councilors League sa Boracay Island sa lalawigan ng Aklan.

“Ang dahilan ng problema sa kalusugan at ng infectious disease ay dulot sa hindi pagsunod sa mga batas ng kalikasan,” ani Rep. Legarda.

Pangarap din aniya ng kongresista na ang lahat ng barangay sa bansa ay matuto at masanay ng waste segregation, mag-recycle at mag-compost ng basura.

Sa pamamagitan nito ay magiging isang paraiso ang bawat barangay.

“My dream for my country, for our country is, if all barangay over the country, if they would segregate waste of source, recycle and compost. Imagine what a eutopia or a paradise are barangays would be,” saad ng kongresista.

Giit pa nito,  “If we do not segregate waste of source, recycle and compost, we are faced with a disaster and a catastrophy that would be worst than COVID-19.”
