Sa botong 21-0, ipinasa ang Senate Bill No. 2450 o ang Permanent Validity of the Certificates of Live Birth, Death, and Marriage Act.
“With this piece of legislation, we have clearly and categorically provided the permanent validity of the civil registry documents regardless of the date of issuance. As such, they will be recognized and accepted in all government or private transactions,” pahayag ni Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, ang nag-sponsor sa nasabing bill, chairman ng Senate Committee on Civil Service, Government Reorganization and Professional Regulation.
“In one sentence, this is the gist of the bill: A birthday can be celebrated yearly.
